THE COMPANY

With a long established niche in the market, this creative agency deliver a host of projects from prize fulfilment, to incentive travel trips and broader comms and engagement campaigns for clients in a wide range of sectors. Working with some leading brands, they pride themselves on creating unforgettable incentive experiences in some unusual and far flung destinations with group sizes up to 500 pax to motivate and reward. With a passion for travel at the heart of the agency they surpass their competitors with their innovative proposals and are leading the charge in the global events market.

THE ROLE

This is a fixed term contract to cover the current Head of Operation's maternity leave and ideally will start towards the end of February, to allow some hand over. Working closely with the senior leadership team, the ultimate focus of the role is to lead, organise, mentor and support the events team of Event Executives through to Event Directors ensuring that there is smooth service delivery across their busy calendar.

A snapshot of the broad responsibilities:

* Running the day to day activities of the events team
* Resource planning and allocating projects
* Supporting with PDPs and appraisals
* Daily and weekly 1:1s and resolving issues
* Updating and ops docs and ensuring clear processes
* Covering team with freelance support during on-sites
* Inputting into proposals or live projects where necessary
* Reporting on progress to SMT on a weekly basis
* Liaising with suppliers, venues and DMCs

THE CANDIDATE

Calm under pressure and a natural leader, the person that will succeed in this role will have a good grounding in overseas incentives and a global destination knowledge from an agency background. Due to the role being so focused on line management and supporting the team this is an absolute pre-requisite!
