THE ROLE

There is now the opportunity for an experienced Event or Account Director to join this ever growing agency in a Head of Events role, leading an events team and overseeing the resources and delivery across international projects from conferences, product launches and roadshows to gala dinners and incentives. You will also have responsibility for creating and implementing strategy to ensure efficiency and profitability for the department.

Working closely with the Account Directors from the initial brief, the role of Head of Events will get involved in:

* Reporting directly to the Board
* Ensuring that all events are allocated equally across the team
* Line managing a team from Account Managers to Account Directors
* Managing client relationships and ensuring events exceed expectations
* Putting together event proposals with the solutions team
* Budget management and financial sign off for events
* Training, developing and leading the team to their individual career objectives
* Working with the leadership team to set the business strategy

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal applicant will be currently working at an event agency, overseeing event delivery and managing a team but looking for that next career move. You must be commercially focussed with a real passion to drive the department. If you have strong logistics experience, are resourceful and able to pull together individuals needed, while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment then we need you!
