THE ROLE

We are now looking for an experienced Lead Events Manager / Head of Events to come on board and take the events strategy to the next level!

You will be responsible for leading the events team to successfully deliver a full calendar of national and high profile events throughout the UK.

Managing around 250 consumer, supplier and internal events across the country each year, from charity events to supplier awards you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless on time and within budget.

Key duties:


Take the brand, customer and communication strategies and turn them into an events activation plan; making sure the brand, values, purpose and commitments are at the core of every event
Advise the Director of Marketing on future strategy; sharing your expertise and supporting key decision making
Take a strategic lens over the events plan, making sure the team are on track
Look at the best way to drive sales and profit for external charity events
Own project meetings for more high profile and flagship events
Lead and coordinate the events team (7 colleagues) to successfully deliver events
Manage and delegate ad hoc requests from the business
Manage the overall events budget and allocation
Hold regular check in and drop in meetings to keep ahead of what's going on
Work with colleagues, leaders and teams across the business, managing expectations
Look at how they can evolve and roll out their 'taste and tell' proposition across other locations

THE CANDIDATE

This role will suit people who have senior event management experience working across high profile consumer facing events. The ideal candidate will be a Head of Events / Client Services Director at an agency, high profile brand or large scale sporting or music venue.
