We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced events professionals to join a leading agency in the Midlands!


THE COMPANY

As a well established event agency this company work with the who's who of healthcare clients delivering projects on a truly global scale. With events predominately taking place in Europe and the US this is one of the best agencies in the industry to work for! Their project portfolio is incredibly diverse; touching all areas of the event spectrum from congresses, advisory boards, investigator meetings and symposia to gala dinners, training meetings and internal conferences. Offering full event logistics services this company are able to tailor a bespoke service to each and every client.

Due to some exciting and ongoing growth, they are now seeking a Meeting Manager to join the team and work across their diverse calendar of events!


THE ROLE

In this busy role you will act as the main point of client contact and be responsible for the full delivery of projects:

Key responsibilities will include:

*Managing projects from brief through to delivery
*Taking a full brief from the client or Account Manager
*Supporting on proposals and solutions
*Acting as the main point of client contact throughout and building relationships
*Organising full event logistics
*Contracting and managing suppliers including venues, production, DMCs, etc.
*Liaising with internal departments such as venue sourcing
*Overseeing the delegate registration process
*Managing budgets and healthcare reporting through to reconciliation
*Delivering events onsite on a global basis
*Overseeing junior team members on a project basis


THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this position you will have experience in managing a range of events from brief/conception through to delivery. We can consider diverse backgrounds (agency, client side, association, charity, venue, etc.) for this position however candidates must be confident in budget, supplier and logistics management. Experience in delivering international events and working with healthcare clients would be beneficial as would an understanding of CRM systems and delegate registration.
