A great opportunity for an AV Technician to be based on-site and support in the technical delivery for a range of events!

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Events Technician to join a leading AV / production company where you will work onsite at one of their dedicated venue sites.

With expertise in the provision of production services to corporate clients, event agencies, production companies, PR & communications agencies and venues their reputation is based on quality and experience.

THE ROLE

With continued success and exciting growth plans for the future, there is now an exciting opportunity for an AV Technician to join their growing team and be based at one of their central London venues. Working onsite with the client you will manage the AV for all of their event as well as being the main point of contact.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and organising all AV / technical aspects for their events

• Project manage small projects

• Operating AV / technical equipment in a live environment

• Client handling on site

• Maintenance of AV / technical equipment

• Basic video editing

• Keeping up to date with latest technologies in your field

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a good technical knowledge and feel confident translating the client's technical requirements for an event. You will have strong AV and events experience with up to date knowledge of health and safety regulations. Candidates must be competent in operating a range of equipment in live event scenarios including sound and lighting desks . Any experience of CAD and / or basic video editing would be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have a proven ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
