THE ROLE

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for line managing a small team of Event Managers and be heavily focused on developing client relationships as well as ensuring smooth delivery of the events programme.

Key responsibilities will include:

*Ensuring excellent levels of delivery across a range of projects
*Reviewing SLAs and processes
*Building relationships with key stakeholders within the client
*Developing relationships with third party suppliers
*Signing off financial budgets and projects for the team
*Maximising profitability of projects at all times
*Final sign off for contracts with venues, hotels etc
*Mentoring, developing and appraising the team
*Supporting the Head of Operations
*Leading larger, more complex events including on-site
*Post-event reconciliation and de-brief with client

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for experienced candidates with a proven background of managing client relationships, line managing a team and developing efficient working practices across the business. The ideal candidate must have a solid background of event delivery; ideally from within an events agency. An insight into healthcare/pharmaceutical events would be beneficial for this role.
