OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - OUTDOOR EVENTS

We have a unique opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join an exciting and growing events business during their busy summer period!
Partnering with some of the most iconic large scale event venues, festivals and brands; this forward thinking events company support over 400 of the UKs best events and reach over 15 million people each year. Centred on the provision of on-the-go F&B this company offer varied services across their 5 divisions to deliver enhanced customer experiences for each of their diverse clients. With in-house divisions covering the provision of catering, event bars, full logistics, technologies and concessionaires management; they can offer bespoke, individual solutions or work seamlessly together to provide a full delivery service. Established since 1975 and originating as a family business; this company offers a fantastic culture and they take pride in providing support to develop staff to enable them to be the best they can be.
Due to their busy calendar of events over the summer period, they are now seeking an Operations Supervisor to join the team on a temporary basis and work across their diverse projects!
In this busy role you will be working on sites across the UK supporting the Head of Operations in the efficient set up and break down of events onsite.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Supporting with the operational aspects of setting up events onsite
*Monitoring sub-contractor performance during live set up
*Ensuring activity onsite complies with health & safety policies
*Managing site set up and breakdown when required
*Collating reports on maintenance and repair jobs where required
*Supervising a small team at larger events
*Representing the brand across all event sites
*Travelling and staying across the UK and working weekends
To be considered for this position we are looking for candidates with experience working manually within an outdoor event environment; experience at sporting or festival type events would be beneficial. The ability to work well within a team and the willing to travel across the UK and spend extended periods of time away from home are essential. A UK driving licence is required to be considered for this role.
