With in house services including event design and production, operations and logistics they work across a broad range of events including experiential events, PR and press launches, corporate parties and roadshows to name a few. With a dedicated team of designers, brimming with creativity they have been responsible for a huge range of bespoke build projects including the design and build of a life size gingerbread house, a pop up food festival (incorporating 3 venue transformations) and seasonal campaigns including full set builds, costumes and theming.

THE ROLE

Due to continued success and the win of new business they are now looking for an experienced Production Director to head up their workshop and designs for a multitude of projects. A broad and client facing role responsibilities include:

  • Client liaison and management
  • Working closely with Project Managers
  • Using creativity and knowledge to input on and steer bespoke designs
  • Overseeing and managing the workshop
  • Advising on builds, materials and finishing methods
  • Allocating and managing resource across projects
  • Overseeing projects including all production elements
  • Supplier liaison and management
  • Budget management and reconciliation
  • Onsite management including overseeing installation

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have a proven background of project managing design and build projects, including a strong understanding of production processes, materials and finishing methods. Candidates will be considered from a range of backgrounds including production agencies, design and build agencies, theatre design or prop manufacturing as long as they have had exposure to managing build projects, be that for experiential events, roadshows or set and stage projects. Candidates must be client facing and have a strong design background / understanding. Any exposure to using or working with software including AutoCAD and SketchUp would be an added benefit although is not essential for the role.
