THE ROLE

They are now looking for a Programme Manager to come on board and manage the complex programme for their largest 4 day conference, including ensuring timelines are maintained and budgets adhered to.

A broad role, responsibilities include:

*Overall management of the programme
*Liaison and management of high profile speakers
*Venue liaison
*Logistics management including the management of conference rooms
*Liaising with internal teams and managing accommodation schedules
*Working closely with marketing teams in regards to speaker requirements and conference materials
*Proof reading and amending conference programmes (if necessary)
*Supplier management and negotiation
*Overseeing and managing the programme team, including the call for papers process
*Working closely with the registration team
*Line management
*Budget management including updating budgets and reconciling accounts
*Onsite management (including management of staff)
*Post event reporting and analysis

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have experience of managing commercial conferences end to end, ideally from within a conference / exhibition organiser, PCO or association environment. Candidates must have a proven background of managing logistically complex conferences, incorporating multiple streams. A strong background of managing conference speakers and programmes is essential as is the ability to communicate with senior level stakeholders / speakers. Any knowledge of the oil and gas sector would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role. Candidates must be open to international travel.
