This small full service event management and production agency based in Hertfordshire is known for delivering outstanding events for the travel and tourism sector, whose events take place in the UK and throughout the world.
Their fantastic reputation has enabled them to develop a client list that includes many of the UK's leading travel associations as well as corporate clients, including a luxury cruise line and global car hire group.
The agency is currently looking for a Registration Executive to join their team during an Account Manager's maternity leave (which has created a shift in roles internally), giving you the chance to work with a range of clients in this exciting sector. In particular, you would be looking after registrations for the UK's leading travel association who's annual Convention is due to take place later this year in Tokyo, Japan.
They offer a supportive and friendly working environment, with the opportunity to travel overseas. The role is available until the end of 2019, as a minimum.
You will be involved in the management and delivery of all aspects of delegate management with responsibilities including:
Being the main point of contact for registration related issues
Managing delegate enquires and maintaining excellent customer service
Using the agency's EventsAir software to manage the registration database, accommodation and activity bookings
Overseeing confirmations and other delegate communication functions
Liaising with the company's Accountant to manage delegate payments and refunds
Working with third party suppliers, such as hotels and excursion providers across different locations and time zones
Booking accommodation and travel
Onsite registration and delegate support
The agency is ideally looking for a candidate who has a good working knowledge of EventsAir, although this is not essential. Other skills include, but are not limited to:
Exemplary attention to detail
Ability to manage workflows, especially during busy times
Excellent written communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft ExCel
Willingness to get involved, learn and take responsibility for your tasks
Friendly and helpful personality.
The salary range for this position is £19,876 -£23,637, depending on your experience.
