As a Client Relationships Manager, you’ll play a key role in securing sponsorships, partnerships, and event attendees, helping us generate income and build lasting connections with individuals and organisations across Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.
Working closely with the Senior Events Manager, the Client Relationships Manager will also contribute to strategy development and provide hands-on support to ensure every event achieves its potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential sponsors, donors, and event attendees through proactive outreach and networking.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with supporters and partners, representing the charity with confidence and warmth.
- Work closely with the wider events team to increase attendance, income, and engagement across our event programme.
- Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to potential supporters.
- Support event planning and delivery, including guest communications, registration, logistics, and on-the-day support.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, progress, and outcomes using internal CRM and reporting systems.
- Research and identify new opportunities, market trends, and partnership prospects relevant to the charity’s mission.
- Assist with post-event reporting and follow-up, contributing to continuous improvement and future planning.
- To work with the Senior Events Manager to manage and develop the wider events team.
The Candidate
- Experience in events, business development, sales and ideally fundraising within the charity or events sector.
- A natural relationship-builder with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident in approaching and engaging stakeholders at all levels, from small businesses to major donors.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision.
- Well-organised, with strong attention to detail and a professional approach to follow-up and record-keeping.
- Enthusiastic about events and comfortable supporting hands-on delivery when needed.
- Passionate about the work of the charity sector and motivated by the opportunity to help transform young lives.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Client Relationships Manager who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment and wants to see the direct impact of their work on young people’s futures.
