Overseeing the sales and marketing strategy you will be proactively driving sales and growth across the company and managing a high performing sales team. The role involves the overall planning of the marketing strategy, establishing partnerships and ensuring continuous growth across a portfolio of their events.
This is a broad role that includes:
* Developing and delivering the sales and marketing strategies
* Setting KPI's and ensuring these are met
* Advising and guiding the marketing team
* Working with internal teams on sales collateral, presentations, proposals and lead generation campaigns
* Management of all personnel within the sales and marketing teams, including their development
* Delivering sales against targets through revenue streams including sponsorship, trade stands, hospitality and ticket packages
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales and leading a team to achieve targets. Candidates from a variety of backgrounds will be considered including sponsorship, delegate or exhibition sales. Exposure to managing marketing campaigns and / or teams in this area would be an added benefit. This role would be perfect for an experienced Sales Manager who has experience building relationships and leading a sales team in a high performing and fast paced.
