THE COMPANY
This well-established technical production company provides innovative audio visual solutions for the live events industry. Working with agencies, end clients and directly with venues they specialise in delivering video, sound, staging, lighting and rigging using leading AV and broadcast technology.
With multiple offices as well as venue partnerships, this agency are one of the leaders within their field. Working with clients across a broad range of industry sectors including financial, technology, automotive, retail and insurance sectors, they plan and deliver the technical production for events including conferences, meetings, product launches, exhibitions and live shows!

THE ROLE
Reporting directly into the MD you will be responsible for managing a team and increasing revenue across the business both from existing accounts and new business.
A broad role responsibilities include:
Setting and delivering a sales strategy
Working closely with management to ensure sales strategies are in line with the marketing of the business
Managing, motivating and developing a team
Ensuring sales strategies are effective and implemented across the team
Identifying and targeting new business opportunities and driving this through the team
Ensuring sales targets are hit and ideally exceeded
Actively developing business from new clients and existing accounts
Building long lasting relationships
Identifying opportunities and converting leads
Working closely with internal departments of the business
Presentation preparation and leading on pitches
THE CANDIDATE
A proven track record of developing relationships and identifying and winning business is essential and candidates must have figures to support this. Knowledge of the events industry is essential and ideally candidates will come from a production or AV company with a solid understanding of this area. In addition candidates must be comfortable producing and presenting reports at board level. Experience of managing and motivating a sales team is a must.
