A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Scenic Carpenter to join a fantastic event production agency where you'll be working across a number of exciting event projects.

THE ROLE
As Scenic Carpenter you will join the set and staging team and be involved in creating scenic elements from brief through to onsite installation. Responsibilities include:

• Interpreting working drawings and briefs
• Building bespoke, high quality scenic projects
• Working with a range of materials
• Liaising with crew, suppliers and clients onsite
• Supporting the Workshop Manager
• Assisting with the installation of projects onsite
• Maintaining the general upkeep of the workshop
• Having the ability to work to tight deadlines

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will come from a scenic events background however candidates from none events backgrounds will also be considered. You must have an excellent working knowledge of construction techniques across varied materials and be able to interpret working drawings to produce high quality finished pieces in a fast paced environment. We are looking for candidates with an enthusiastic and hands on approach with a flexible approach to working hours.
