THE ROLE

Overseeing the team as well as delivering your own events, responsibilities are broad and include:

• Account and client management

• Overseeing delivery across the board and managing resource allocation

• Ensuring SLA's and margins are maintained across the team

• Leading on larger projects

• Creating event proposals and pitching for business

• Venue sourcing (UK and overseas) including site visits

• Supplier and venue liaison and negotiation

• Multi currency budget management and reconciliation

• Direct line management including conducting appraisals

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must come from an agency background and have proven experience in delivering a broad range of large scale events from end to end, with particular strengths in budget management and reconciliation. Candidates must have strong presentation skills and client management skills as well as proven experience of managing and developing a team. Strong destination knowledge is essential and any languages skills would be an added benefit but is not essential for the role. Candidates must be open to UK and international travel as you will be required to go onsite to manage events.
