THE COMPANY

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an amazing and specialised venue, working across two flagship sites. With such an established and versatile space they are known for delivering truly unique events from interactive exhibitions and launch events through to experiential activations and film premiers, and everything in between.

Due to a demanding and complex diary of events they are now looking for a Senior Production Manager to come on board and lead projects from initial contact through to onsite delivery.

THE ROLE

As such a critical position within the team responsibilities are broad and include:

  • Managing all production and delivery of events across the board

  • Working closely with senior teams to create event concepts

  • Advising on materials and finishing methods

  • Resource planning and co-ordination of teams and freelance crew

  • Liaising with both internal and external teams

  • Ensuring H & S of events

  • Strengthening relationships with both suppliers and end clients to develop future business

  • Budget management and reconciliation

  • Onsite management including liaison with technical teams

  • Line management

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have proven capabilities in project management and a strong understanding of production build. Candidates will be considered from a range of backgrounds including production agencies, design and build agencies, theatre design or prop manufacturing as long as they have had exposure to managing build projects for corporate clients, be that for experiential events, venue based structures or shop fit outs. Candidates must have knowledge of construction and finishing methods and be able to advise on technical requirements including sound, lighting, rigging and video. Up to date knowledge of health and safety regulations is key as is experience of using CAD.
