There is now an exciting opportunity for a technical Production Manager to come on board!
THE ROLE
As a Technical Director / Production Manager you will be responsible for providing technical production assistance across all projects from an early design stage right through to final delivery on site, ensuring the final execution is on time and delivered to the expected quality standard. With technical production experience in manufacturing, managing and delivering large scale exhibit projects, you will assist with all technical production aspects of the project working in conjunction with the Client Services team the Project operations team and the design studio.
You will be a highly skilled multi-tasker, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. You may be asked to work additional hours during busy periods and in exceptional situations, this may be at short notice. Regular travel to the USA is expected based on the schedule of projects assigned.
Due to recent business wins there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Production Manager to come on board and ensure the business continues to offer and deliver exceptional and innovative exhibitions to their high profile client base.
Responsibilities include:
Creating, planning and delivering a range of exhibition stands
Taking and interpreting the brief
Proposal creation
Acting as the principal client interface - maintaining and managing client relationships
Ensuring correct levels of resourcing across projects
Overseeing and coordinating all content and messaging on the stands including interactive and digital elements
Briefing and liaising with production, creative teams and internal departments
Supplier, venue and stakeholder liaison
Budget management and reconciliation
Onsite management
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have a proven experience within exhibitions internationally and should ideally come from an agency or exhibition design and build company. Knowledge of technical and production processes for interactive details, video and digital collateral is imperative and candidates must be experienced at liaising with creative and design teams.
Due to the seniority of this role, knowledge of all technical disciplines is an imperative skill set as is strong health and safety credentials. Knowledge of CAD is also desirable.
