THE COMPANY

Our client is a Yorkshire based company who deliver high spec and complex technical solutions for conferences, exhibitions, virtual & live events across the UK.

They have built a reputation for crafting captivating and engaging experiences for their clientele by harnessing state-of-the-art technology. Collaborating with a diverse range of clients spanning leading corporations and large event agencies. They offer an extensive array of production solutions both here in the UK and overseas.

 

THE ROLE

As a result of continued success, they are currently seeking a driven professional to join their team and oversee a diverse range of corporate events, spanning virtual, live, and hybrid formats.

You will lead the client from the brief right through to delivery of the event.

In this pivotal role within the company, you will be responsible for various tasks, including:

 

      Defining technical requirements for projects

Engaging with clients to ensure their needs are met

Taking the lead on the technical aspects of large-scale events, providing expert advice and problem-solving

Setting up and operating equipment for live and virtual events

Staying informed about the latest platforms and trends in the industry

Supervising technical execution across multiple events

Demonstrating significant expertise in AV technologies, encompassing lighting, audio/video output, rigging, and power systems Managing project timelines, budgets, and task prioritisation

Attending events in person as needed

Leading and managing a team of professionals.

 

 

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will have a proven background of technical project management ideally gained from working within an AV company or production agency, although other backgrounds such as from Venue side may be considered. 

Candidates must have a base level of experience in terms of the kit and equipment necessary to operate and run events successfully. Previous experience with VMix or similar platforms would be highly beneficial. You will ideally be client facing and be comfortable working with a wide range of people and projects.

CAD knowledge would be ideal, but a base level of interpreting drawings would suffice.
