THE ROLE
This events agency is now looking for a Technical Warehouse Manager to join the production arm of the business. You will be based at their purpose built warehouse in Hertfordshire where you will working with the production, operations and events teams and you will be responsible for playing the lead role within the warehouse including mentoring and managing the warehouse team.
As a Warehouse Manager your key responsibilities will include;
Overseeing warehouse staff including resource scheduling
Liaising with the production team to ensure all equipment is ready for each event
The check in and check out equipment using rental software
Managing stock control and inventory
Overseeing and hands on preparation and testing of all AV equipment
Maintenance of equipment including PAT testing
Manage all storage space and areas
Health and Safety
Liaising and negotiating with third party suppliers for additional equipment
Sourcing new and innovative technical kit
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this Warehouse Manager role you must have exceptional technical ability, with great leadership and organisation skills. We are ideally looking for candidates who are Warehouse Managers within the events, production or AV sectors, however will consider Production / Project Managers who want an office-based role.
