THE ROLE

With a long-term relationship having been developed further, there is now the opportunity for an experienced Venue Operations Manager to plan, manage and oversee bar operations across this venues public events programmes, private hires and on site outlets!

This is a broad role that includes:

* Overseeing the F&B operation at large scale events
* Managing resources effectively to achieve financial targets
* Working closely with the operations team
* Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders throughout
* Supporting the development of the wider by monitoring performance and provide feedback
* Inputting into the budgets and P&L's
* Monitoring stock
* Ensuring events are adequately staffed and resourced via internal teams

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this position you will ideally be experienced in the operational delivery of complex events ideally within a large scale venue or outdoor event environment. We are looking for candidates who thrive within a fast paced, onsite environment and you will need to have the ability to work in a changing environment and respond effectively to problems and high pressured scenarios. Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen are essential. An understanding of health & safety best practice and an insight into catering and/or hospitality for events would be beneficial.
