Warehouse Event Technician

£24,000 - £26,000 +O/T

The Company
A fantastic opportunity for an Events Warehouse Technician to join a successful and well-established technical production company that service a wide range of corporate and exhibition events.
With nationwide offices, this company offer first rate technical services to a number of events and production agencies with high profile events held across the UK and overseas.
Due to ongoing growth and successful new business wins, they are now looking for a Warehouse Technician to join their established team!
The Role
You will be working supporting and alongside a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager supporting the general processed and procedures within the warehouse for a variety of high spec audio visual equipment. As an Events Warehouse Technician you will be responsible for providing the technical support and working within a dedicated team of technicians whilst support across a range of warehouse operations to the highest of standards.
This is a broad role, with responsibilities including;
- Working with other Technicians and supporting the Operations Managers
- Liaising with suppliers for additional technical equipment
- PAT testing a variety of audio-visual equipment
- Working within a team of up to 8 Technicians
- Ensuring the warehouse is a safe working environment at all times
- Processing dry hires and booking in equipment
- General loading and unloading of AV equipment
- Picking and packing equipment whilst using Hiretrack
The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced candidate with a strong knowledge of Audio-Visual equipment. You will be from within an AV supplier or a Technical Production agency, where you have been involved in working with a variety of AV equipment. It is important that candidates have an enthusiastic and hard-working attitude with a strong technical knowledge as well as a flexible work ethic due to shift patterns.
To be considers for this opportunity you must have experience PAT testing and a full UK driving licence.
