This is a pivotal position within a small, purpose-driven team, well suited to a strategic and proactive individual who’s confident managing events from concept to completion and passionate about creating impactful, engaging experiences. As Event Manager you will play a pivotal part of the growth of a worthwhile cause that is changing lives, whilst being involved with talent booking for performers and VIP appearances. What You’ll Be Doing ·        Lead the end-to-end management of all events, from initial concept and planning through to delivery and evaluation.·        Talent booking for performers and VIP appearances.·        Create detailed project plans, timelines, and risk assessments to ensure every event is professionally executed.·        Manage all event logistics, including liaising with venues and suppliers, coordinating catering and AV, overseeing health & safety compliance, and ensuring all insurance requirements are met.·        Work collaboratively with fundraising and communications colleagues to align event objectives with wider organisational goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key supporters, corporate sponsors, and service providers.·        Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are used effectively.·        Provide leadership and support to junior team members and volunteers involved in event delivery.·        Regularly review and assess the success of events, applying insight and learning to improve future activities.·        Represent the Charity at meetings, briefings, and events with professionalism and enthusiasm What We’re Looking For ·        Significant experience as an Event Manager within the charity, nonprofit, or cultural sectors or any busy event management industry where you haver managed multiple projects·        A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale and high-profile events·        Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure·        Confident communication and stakeholder engagement abilities – from major donors to suppliers·        A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and attention to detail·        A genuine desire to make a difference through impactful, mission-driven events Why This Role? If you’re an experienced Event Manager looking for a role where your skills can make a real-world impact, this is a fantastic opportunity.
