With a busy portfolio of events across the year, they operate in a range of markets including healthcare and technology.Priding themselves on building a strong client base through flawless delivery and first-class service, this highly regarded agency has been recognised on multiple occasions as a leading innovator in their market.Offering an excellent working environment, strong team ethos, competitive salaries and fantastic career opportunities, this is an opportunity not to be missed for the next Conference & Logistics Manager!THE ROLEDue to their ongoing success, they are now looking to hire a Conference & Logistics Manager to act as the conduit between Show Directors, Marketing Managers, Operations teams, suppliers and speakers to ensure each conference runs smoothly.The Conference & Logistics Manager responsibilities will include: Training, developing and managing a minimum of 1 direct report Liaising with event teams to confirm theatre capacities and specific AV requirements.Providing AV suppliers with a detailed briefs of AV requirements and ensuring quotes received are accurate based on those requirements.Negotiating with AV suppliers to ensure best prices without compromising on qualityEnsuring operations budgets are kept up to date with AV costsStaging set designDay to day liaison with speakersManaging speaker fees and expenses in line with event budgetsManaging speaker accommodation schedulesLiaising with marketing and operations teams to ensure all are aware of speaker requirementsCompiling and coordinating staff schedules in collaboration with Event Directors and Operations teams.Conducting post-event reporting and analysis. THE CANDIDATECandidates applying to the Conference & Logistics Manager role must have similar experience gained from working within a conference environment and have a proven background of supporting in corporate events. Candidates must be client facing and would benefit from experience in supplier management.
