Head of Strategy & Development – Events Industry
New Business
Location: Hybrid (2 days in office per week)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + uncapped commission (up to 8%)
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Annual leave: 25 days + 1 extra day each year (up to 30)

THE ROLE
Within this role as Head of Strategy & Development, you’ll be the driving force behind new business growth — identifying, nurturing, and converting high-value B2B clients.
- Building and managing a pipeline of high-value opportunities within the events and experiential space
- Leading strategic sales activity — from research and outreach to closing complex, high-value deals
- Delivering compelling proposals and pitches that reflect creativity and commercial insight
- Working directly with the Managing Director on growth and business planning
- Collaborating with the wider marketing and creative teams to align strategy and delivery
- Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor movements to shape proactive sales strategy
THE CANDIDATE
In order to be a successful candidate, you must be a commercially-minded sales professional with a love for live experiences. You know how to build trust quickly, communicate value, and nurture long-term partnership and enjoy longer processes. You will also need experience in delivering and managing compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations as well as expertly following up prospects and maintaining CRM systems
