East Midlands with travel across the UK - Are you an accomplished sales professional with experience in the events space, looking for a new and exciting challenge?

This privately owned business have venues across the UK and globally. With a foothold in the leisure and hospitality industry, they have been incredibly successful in expanding their brand.
 
Their service offerings include corporate events & entertainment packages, rewards and incentives and are keen to expand their client base even further.
 
THE ROLE

With inbound sales already on a fantastic scale - you will be both reactive and proactive in achieving sales targets with a 60/40 split of inbound conversions to proactive conversions expected.
 
Duties will include:
 

• Creating and developing sales and marketing strategies to increase private group bookings

• Providing detailed analysis of sales activities

• Supporting the UK Sales Manager including attendance at trade exhibitions and events

• Oversee event planning, managing client expectations and co-ordinating with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of events

• Developing and implementing sales strategies to grow corporate event sales

• Respond to incoming emails, website and phone enquiries with a strong focus on conversion

• Identifying new sales leads and booking appointments

• Managing the full sales cycle from initial client contact through to the event day and aftersales

 
THE CANDIDATE
 
The ideal candidate will have experience in sales from either a venue, hospitality, hotel or similar background and will have proven experience in hitting / exceeding targets and developing new business.
