The Role

Due to continued growth they are now looking for Head of Scenic to join their team. The role will be responsible for leading the fabrication of experiential set builds and bespoke exhibition stands whilst also managing the overall output of the scenic department.

The broad responsibilities of the Head of Scenic role will include:

Managing scenic projects from briefing stages to execution

Guiding clients on feasibility of projects

Leading project costing, timelines and implementation

Managing effective relationships with internal departments

Ensuring all projects are delivered to budget

Supervising and line managing a scenic delivery team

Allocating projects and managing resources across the team

Implementing processes to ensure a safe working environment

Ensuring quality control across the output of the whole scenic department

The Candidate

We are looking for candidates with proven high level project delivery experience across scenic or exhibition build projects from within an event environment. Candidates must have knowledge of large scale and complex fabrications and knowledge of AutoCAD would be highly advantageous. As the Head of Scenic is a department lead position, we are looking for an individual who also has proven experience in leadership including formal line management of a team and day to day management of the overall output of a scenic department.
