Looking to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-performing environment? We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Marketing Assistant to join a collaborative team driving real commercial results through creative, data-driven marketing campaigns.

  • Career development with clear progression opportunities
  • Supportive culture focused on learning and collaboration

The Company

A global leader in B2B conference production, this organisation has been delivering premium events across the Defence, Energy, Utilities, and pharmaceutical sectors for over 25 years. They are known for producing industry-leading conferences, workshops, and masterclasses that bring together top speakers, cutting-edge content, and high-value networking.

Currently experiencing rapid growth, including new event launches and a 70% revenue increase in the past two years, the business is expanding. They foster a kind, supportive, and collaborative culture that prioritises employee development, retention, and long-term success.

The Role

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their growing marketing team. This role is key for supporting the marketing team with end-to-end campaign management, creating stand out content for social media platforms whilst supporting paid socials and reporting on market trends to ensure the team are always hitting the mark.

This is an exciting opportunity  for a Marketing Assistant to gain hands-on experience across the full marketing mix, from email marketing and social media to research, reporting, partnerships, and campaign operations. You’ll join a collaborative and high-performing team at the heart of a dynamic marketing function that fuels delegate ticket sales and commercial sponsorships through strategic, creative, and data-led initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day admin support to keep campaigns running smoothly.
  • Creating eye-catching content in Canva, and writing engaging copy for emails, web, print, and social content.
  • Researching competitors to shape messaging and uncover new campaign opportunities.
  • Raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and tracking  marketing spend for reporting.
  • Coordinating, sending and monitoring email campaigns using internal and external platforms.
  • Logging marketing-driven revenue and preparing weekly reports to track campaign impact and ROI.
  • Supporting organic and paid social media activity, including writing, scheduling, and managing campaign logistics.
  • Preparing clear handover documents to aid telemarketing outreach.
  • Collaborating with teams across the business to ensure campaign success.

The Candidate

To be considered for this Marketing Assistant role the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate confidence under pressure, managing tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work. You’ll have excellent writing skills with a creative flair,  and will be able to craft engaging promotional content across digital and print channels. Highly organised and methodical, you’ll bring a strong sense of ownership to your work, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.

A degree in marketing or a related field is preferred but not essential if you possess previous experience in a similar Marketing Assistant role. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who naturally puts the customer first, communicates clearly, works collaboratively, and thrives in a supportive, fast-paced environment where trust, curiosity, and teamwork are core-values for this business.

In return they offer a hybrid working model, fantastic career progression, companywide bonuses, bespoke training for each team member and above all the chance to start your career with an award-winning company.
