RMG15208 - We are looking for a Workshop Manager to join a growing events agency in Leeds where you will manage the in-house team that build sets, structures and props for the live events industry.

THE AGENCY

This exciting events agency are renowned for delivering creative and innovative events including corporate events, live events, parties, festivals and press events. They offer services including event management, production, styling and theming for well-known clients across the fashion, retail, FMCG and banking sectors, across the UK and overseas.

This agency focuses on connecting customers, teams and clients with brands through live and experiential events.

Working within their in-house workshop they produce a wide range of build structures and props for a wide range of events.

THE ROLE

This agency are looking for a Workshop Manager to join their team and take responsibility for ensuring smooth operations within the workshop - where they produce and build a wide range of structures, set and props for the live events industry.

As a Workshop Manager your will be involved in;

  • Managing the activity within the workshop
  • Working closely with the events and design team to understand a clients brief
  • Overseeing the fabricating and construction of builds / set / props
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered within the agreed timescales
  • Supervising the workshop team including joiners
  • Overseeing the build of each project
  • Managing Health & Safety
  • Maintenance and stock control of material / kit

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates that have experience as a Warehouse/Workshop Manager or a Set Production Manager. We are looking for candidate who can run workshops and oversee the operations within the workshop. Knowledge of joinery and material would be advantageous.
