    THE ROLE

    With a number of exciting developments currently taking place and an ever expanding event calendar, there is now the opportunity for an Account Executive to take responsibility for driving the venue sales forward within an exceptional team.

    This is a broad role that includes:

    • Responding to enquiries via phone and email
    • Creating and sending fully costed proposals
    • Selling to the capacities of the spaced to maximise revenue
    • Arranging and conducting site visits for clients
    • Proactively building relationships with clients
    • Preparing and issuing of venue hire contracts
    • Contributing to the events marketing strategy and plan

    THE CANDIDATE

    The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience gained from working in a large scale venue or alternatively relevant event industry sales experience. This role would be perfect for an existing Account Executive or Sales Executive who have solid experience within a venue.

    THE ROLE

    A new opportunity has become available within the events department for an Event Executive to support on the delivery of a range of educational events and training programmes, as well as supporting on their three-day annual conference (2000 pax).

    Responsibilities include:

    • Supporting on the delivery of educational courses and events
    • Delegate registrations and coordination
    • Organising speaker and staff travel and accommodation
    • Attending site visits and pre-planning meetings at venues

    The ideal applicant must have experience of delegate management and registration, ideally gained from an agency although other backgrounds will be considered. Experience of using delegate registration systems would be highly advantageous. Any experience of managing travel / accommodation and transfers would also be preferred, as would any language skills. Exposure to managing and liaising with suppliers or any experience of venue souring / producing proposals would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.

    Candidates must be open to international and UK travel as onsite support is required as part of the role.
