THE ROLE
As Business Development Manager, you'll be the face of the agency with new clients, demonstrating how innovative events can transform company culture and deliver real business results. You'll have autonomy to pursue high-value opportunities and the backing of an experienced delivery team.
Responsibilities for this Business Development Manager role include:
- Identifying, targeting, and winning new profitable clients across multiple sectors
- Building strong relationships with HR leaders, marketing directors, and event managers
- Managing the full sales cycle from first contact through to signed contract
- Working closely with internal creative and delivery teams to bring ideas to life
- Representing the agency at pitches, exhibitions, and networking events
- Hitting ambitious sales and profitability targets - and being rewarded for success
THE CANDIDATE
We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager with a track record in winning major corporate accounts. Events experience is essential, though team-building expertise isn't required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years' experience in business development within events, experiential, or a creative agency
- A history of smashing six-figure sales targets (and evidence to prove it)
- Strong commercial acumen - able to understand margins, profitability, and long-term value
- An ambitious, growth-oriented mindset, hungry to go after big deals and household names
- A natural storyteller and closer who can build strong rapport quickly
