This independent, high-end technical production and AV services company delivers world-class event solutions for clients across the corporate, live events, broadcast, and arts sectors.
From webinars, product launches, touring shows and fashion events, to immersive installations, corporate conferences, and festivals, they support both UK and international projects, bringing creative ideas to life through technical expertise.

With a well-equipped warehouse, a sustainability-first ethos, and a trusted network of freelancers, they are now ready to grow their direct client base - and that's where this new Business Development Manager role comes in.
THE ROLE
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving client relationships, developing new business, and overseeing end-to-end delivery of live and virtual events.
This is a blended role, combining strategic business development with hands-on account management, helping the business grow revenue while ensuring clients receive a high standard of service and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow key client relationships
- Develop new commercial opportunities
- Create proposals, tender responses, and compelling client presentations
- Oversee live event delivery from concept to completion
- Provide creative, cost-effective solutions based on client needs
- Source reliable third-party suppliers where needed
- Contribute to pricing, budgeting, and costing projects
- Act as a subject matter expert within AV and technical production
- Keep abreast of industry trends, venues, and new technologies
- Maintain CRM data, pipeline records, and project documentation
THE CANDIDATE
You'll be a confident and commercially focused relationship-builder with a passion for live events and technical production. You don't need to be an engineer - but you do need strong experience working with clients on AV, production, or live event projects.
You'll bring:
✔ Proven client-facing experience in technical production, AV hire, event agency, or similar
✔ Experience planning and budgeting for medium to large-scale events
✔ Strong presentation, proposal writing, and pitching skills
✔ A network of client contacts or industry leads is highly advantageous
✔ Ability to understand client needs and translate them into practical and commercial solutions
✔ Comfortable working flexibly, remotely or on-site depending on project requirements
✔ Strong commercial intuition and negotiation skills
Experience within production companies (e.g. AV hire, event tech, staging) or agency-side working directly with clients would be ideal.
