An exciting CAD Designer opportunity to join a well-established events company that specialise in designing and building immersive, theatrical and experiential builds for a range of clients and marketing agencies.
THE COMPANY
An innovative events company who create and build high-quality set, staging and bespoke projects within the events industry. They work with a range of clients across multiple sectors and have produced stage sets, exhibitions stands, pop up structures, branded environments and innovative immersive builds.
With a focus on high-end quality, creativity and innovation, this company has an outstanding industry reputation. They have an in-house workshop, and a team of experts across production, creative, logistics and technical to deliver the full production of each project.
Working within their office based in Essex, this company are commutable by train. You will work within a close-knit and friendly team where hard work is rewarded. The business has an established production set up.

THE ROLE
This company are now looking for a CAD Designer to join their team where you will be expected to work closely with clients at the briefing stage, and turn their vision into reality with CAD skills for their events.
As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for;
- Work closely with clients at briefing stage
- Use Sketchup and other CAD related software to complete designs for stand builds
- Cost up and estimate materials and fabrications for the build
- Communicate with wider teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Providing build solutions to clients and managing any potential changes to the build
- Exploring cost effective solutions
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will currently be working as a CAD Designer ideally within the event space with excellent knowledge of design and build of bespoke products. The business would consider a wider background.
