The Company

The Role
They are now seeking an Event Business Development Director to join their proactive sales team; the role will involve autonomously leading a full sales pipeline including setting business development strategy and actively identifying and confirming new business. Responsibilities will include:
• Driving long-term, strategic relationships with key client stakeholders
• Setting and ensuring delivery on ambitious new business targets
• Forecasting and building sales pipeline
• Actively identifying and securing new business opportunities
• Holding accountability for sales targets
• Providing regular sales reports
• Representing the agency with clients and at industry events
• Mentoring the wider business development team
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a proactive sales or business development role from within an event or production agency environment. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they can achieve against targets via proactive sales activity, lead their own sales strategy and build their own sales pipeline. Experience working at a senior level and mentoring sales teams would also be highly beneficial.
