This prestigious and independent association is a true leader in its field, with a membership of over 5,000 individuals and a global reputation for thought-leadership and practical debate. Their events are at the heart of international discourse - and you'll be at the centre of making that happen.
Renowned for delivering industry related live, virtual and hybrid events for an international audience of ministers and politicians, diplomats, government officials, universities, international organisations, think-tanks, businesses and civil society, such as panel discussions, conferences and webinars, this organisation are now looking to grow their events team with an Event Manager.
The Role
Due to continued growth they are now looking for an Event Manager to join their growing events team. This role covers every element of event logistics across live and virtual events
As an Event Manager, You'll take full ownership of events from concept to completion, including:
- Planning and delivering high-profile live and digital events
- Managing budgets and creating detailed event proposals
- Securing venues and managing suppliers
- Coordinating speakers and delegates - including government officials and global experts
- Managing event registration, invites, delegate packs, and evaluations
- Being onsite (or online!) to ensure smooth delivery and a great delegate experience
- Post event evaluation
The Candidate
Candidates should ideally be working in a similar role as an Event Manager for either an association or conference organiser delivering corporate event and conferences.
You're an experienced Event Manager who thrives in fast-paced, professional environments. You know what it takes to deliver seamless conferences and events - whether face-to-face or online - and you're cool, calm, and collaborative under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Proven background in delivering corporate or association events
- Confident leading event teams and coordinating across departments
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
