The Company
This premier event management company prides itself on steering projects independently from creative conception through to post-event support. We foster a supportive and collaborative environment that emphasizes strong relationships within the team and with our valued customers across Malta, Portugal, and Italy. With a growing client base, there has never been a better time for an Events Manager to come on board.
The Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Events Manager to join our team. This role covers every element of event management, from responding to initial RFPs through to overseeing everything coming together on-site. This is a broad role where the Events Manager will use all of their logistics and project management skills, including:
- - Crafting compelling, customized proposal presentations and cost estimates.
- - Developing in-depth knowledge of local venues, hotels, and restaurants.
- - Managing contracting and deposit collection with clients and suppliers.
- - Acting as the primary point of contact for pre-event planning and menu selection.
- - Coordinating transportation and managing operating plans for each group.
- - On-site project management, overseeing full event operations.
- - Issuing final invoices and gathering post-event feedback.
The Candidate
The ideal Events Manager must be a native of Malta or Italy, or possess expert-level local knowledge of these regions to effectively forge supplier relationships. Candidates should have a secondary level of education, though a hospitality qualification is a plus. Previous experience in hotel management, F&B, or events is preferred, alongside a customer-oriented and outgoing personality.
Most importantly, we are looking for a detail-oriented Events Manager with exceptional time management skills and a sales-focused mindset! Fluency in English is essential, while additional languages like German or French are considered a significant asset.
