THE COMPANY

This specialist agency is renowned for delivering exceptional scenic builds and creative solutions for live experiences. With a reputation for craftsmanship and innovation, they are seeking a talented Scenic Draftsperson to join their growing team and contribute to exciting projects.

THE ROLE

As a Scenic Draftsperson, you’ll create detailed technical drawings for fabrication, using AutoCAD and other 2D and 3D design tools. You’ll work closely with production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency, balancing quality with deadlines and budgets.

Key responsibilities as a Scenic Draftsperson include:

  • Producing construction and drawings for workshop use and making adjustments when needed 
  • Developing and specifying build methods and material choices
  • Coordinating with internal teams and supporting junior colleagues
  • Managing multiple projects and maintaining clear communication
  • Advising on innovative construction techniques and materials
  • Liaising with suppliers and external partners for technical queries
  • Attending client meetings and site visits when required

THE CANDIDATE

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Scenic Draftsperson with experience in scenic construction or a similar environment. You’ll have strong knowledge of carpentry and metalwork techniques, proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), and excellent organisational skills. A collaborative mindset, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
