The Company:

Our client is a Yorkshire-based charity with deep roots in the community, a big heart, and a bold vision for the future. With a wealth of experience, they support children and young people living at a disadvantage, not just financially, but emotionally and practically too. More than just funding, they offer friendship, guidance, and hands-on support tailored to the evolving needs of every child and family they work with. For those who join their team, it’s an opportunity to be part of a passionate, committed organisation where your voice matters and your work truly makes a difference.  They now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager.

The Role:

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join the team at their Leeds site. This pivotal position requires someone who can help take them from where they are now to where they want to be. As Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll share their ambitious vision for the charity in Yorkshire and bring the skills, expertise, and energy to help tell their story far and wide.

Maybe you’ve built your career in the commercial world and now you’re ready to use your experience for something with purpose. Maybe you’re a creative all-rounder who can see the potential in what they have built but knows there’s so much more to share. Either way, they need someone hungry, strategic, and hands-on — someone who can help them communicate the amazing work happening every single day as Senior Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the Charity’s marketing and communications strategy to raise awareness, drive engagement, and support fundraising and programme objectives
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, PR, and events
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth
  • Grow and manage paid and organic social channels like Meta Platforms, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategy across both the charity’s programmes and event calendars
  • Work with external suppliers, agencies, photographers, etc., as required
  • Monitor and report on marketing ROI

The Candidate:

You’ll be based in Yorkshire and within easy reach of LS7, with a full driving licence and access to a car. You’ll bring a minimum of five years’ experience in marketing and a proven track record of delivering growth, whether in the charity or business sector. You’ll also have experience in team management and leadership and be confident across multiple platforms, including social media, Mailchimp, Trello, Monday CRM, and integrated marketing campaigns.

A true marketing all-rounder, you combine strategic thinking with hands-on creativity, and you’re outgoing, collaborative, and able to laugh at yourself along the way. Ideally, you’ll also have experience leading public-facing campaigns. This role as Senior Marketing Manager offers you the opportunity to lead marketing strategy and make a tangible impact across the charity.

Key Qualities and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience with proven growth results
  • Team management and leadership experience
  • Confident across social media, Mailchimp, Trello, Monday CRM, and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strategic thinker and creative doer
  • Outgoing, collaborative, and adaptable with a sense of humour
  • Desirable: experience leading public-facing campaigns

In return, they offer flexible working, fantastic career progression, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to make a difference to multiple lives.
