The role
Following continued business wins and the expansion of key accounts, they are now looking for an experienced Account Director to step into a pivotal leadership role. This is an opportunity to shape client strategy, elevate creative output, and lead the delivery of complex, multi-layered events. Responsibilities include:
• Leading and nurturing client relationships at a senior level
• Steering and overseeing the delivery of live, hybrid, and virtual events
• Taking detailed client briefs and translating them into effective solutions
• Guiding clients on strategy, technical possibilities, and creative approaches
• Developing compelling proposals and leading pitches
• Managing client expectations through clear, confident communication
• Working collaboratively with internal content, creative, and production teams
• Leading and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
• Full budget ownership and financial accountability
The Candidate
You will be an experienced Account Director—or a highly ambitious Senior Account Manager ready to step up—who brings strong agency experience and deep knowledge of the events or production landscape. You’ll be confident working directly with senior stakeholders, extracting strategic insight from client briefs, and guiding teams to deliver exceptional work. A background delivering large-scale in-person conferences and internal comms events is highly advantageous, as is exposure to content development, film, and design. Above all to be considered for this Account Director role, you’ll be driven, proactive, collaborative, and eager to make a real impact within a progressive and creative agency.
