The role
Following a series of significant client wins and continued account expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Account Director to take on a pivotal leadership role within the business. This position offers real influence — shaping strategy, driving creative excellence and ensuring the seamless delivery of complex, multi-layered event programmes. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing senior-level client relationships
- Driving the delivery of live, hybrid and virtual events from concept to completion
- Interpreting detailed briefs and translating them into impactful, creative solutions
- Advising clients on strategy, technical delivery and innovative approaches
- Developing compelling proposals and leading pitch presentations
- Managing client expectations with clarity and confidence
- Collaborating closely with content, creative and production teams
- Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional standards
- Owning budgets and ensuring strong commercial performance
This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to shape both client strategy and internal delivery standards.
The Candidate
You will be an established Account Director — or an exceptional Senior Account Manager ready to step up — with strong experience within an events or production agency environment. You will be confident partnering with senior stakeholders, extracting strategic insight from complex briefs and leading cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding work.
Experience delivering large-scale in-person conferences and internal communications events will be highly advantageous, alongside exposure to content creation, film and design. Commercially astute and creatively curious, you’ll bring energy, confidence and ambition to the role.
