THE ROLE

As Event Management Lead, you will be the driving force behind the most ambitious client projects. You are not just an organiser. You are a strategic storyteller who crafts pitch-winning proposals and a commercial lead who identifies growth opportunities within our world-class client base. You will balance the creative lens of designing brilliant experiences with the rigorous project management required to execute them flawlessly.

The Event Management Lead position is a broad role that includes:

• Pitch-Winning Proposals: Lead the creation of bespoke, high-conversion event proposals that align with the strategic needs of Business customers.
• Creative Visionary: Apply a creative lens to every brief, bringing together the right venues and suppliers to turn client briefs into iconic, memorable experiences.
• Business Development & Growth: Actively drive new business within existing accounts and support the acquisition of new clients by demonstrating the agency's value and innovation.
• End-to-End Event Management: Provide oversight of the entire event lifecycle, from initial brief definition to leading on-site delivery for conferences, product launches, incentive programmes and corporate celebrations.
• Commercial & Strategic Acumen: Negotiate complex commercial terms and cancellation clauses to ensure the best value for customers while maintaining commercial health.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Manage relationships with multiple senior stakeholders, navigating the complexities of in-person, virtual, and hybrid event formats.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a vital link between client stakeholders, venues and suppliers and on-site delivery teams to ensure a seamless experience for every customer.
• International Delivery: As the business delivers events globally, this role requires a willingness to undertake international travel to lead on-site delivery and support global client programmes as required

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates applying for the Event Management Lead role should have similar experience gained from working within an event agency - or similar. You will be confident in managing senior stakeholders & clients and have excellent communication skills. As Event Management Lead, the ideal candidate needs someone with experience pitching and who is comfortable handling commercial conversations.
