Operating from their large Kent-based workshops, the team of over 60 specialists - spanning carpentry, metalwork, scenic art, and project delivery - are expanding rapidly as demand continues to grow in both the UK and internationally.
THE ROLE
The Head of Workshop & Logistics will take a leading role in the operational heartbeat of the company - ensuring every project leaving the workshop meets the highest creative and production standards.
This is a hands-on management position, responsible for coordinating people, processes, and logistics across multiple departments to deliver complex, one-of-a-kind builds on time, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily workshop operations across departments.
- Supervise and support workshop staff to ensure efficient workflows
- Coordinate schedules, materials, and logistics for all projects.
- Maintain communication with leadership on progress and priorities.
- Ensure quality control, health and safety compliance, and efficiency.
- Manage stock, consumables, and hire equipment.
- Support recruitment and onboarding
THE CANDIDATE
You'll be an experienced workshop or production manager from a scenic, theatre, or event build background - someone who thrives on organisation, leadership, and problem-solving in a fast-paced creative environment.
Experience from a scenic construction, fit out, or stage/production environment (e.g. theatre, immersive events, exhibitions, or live touring) would be ideal.
