Our client is a sector-leading professional network connecting over 30,000 professionals across the built environment, property, and related industries. The organisation provides research, insights, events, and networking opportunities to support innovation, collaboration, and growth. With ambitious growth plans, the commercial team is expanding to enhance partnerships, grow revenue, and scale new business across the UK and internationally.
The Role:
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Sales Account Executive to join their commercial team in Central London. This role offers the opportunity to own the full sales cycle, develop a high-quality pipeline, and help shape a scalable go-to-market approach.
- The Sales Account Executive will focus on mid-market and enterprise clients, delivering tailored commercial propositions across membership, research, events, sponsorship, and bespoke partnership opportunities.
- This is a broad role where the Sales Account Executive will use all their sales and relationship management skills, including:
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing
- Generating and maintaining a robust new business pipeline
- Conducting discovery calls, demos, and presentations to understand client needs
- Collaborating with marketing, content, and delivery teams to create targeted outreach strategies
- Leveraging professional networks and attending industry events to build relationships
- Developing and delivering tailored commercial proposals that align with client objectives
- Maintaining accurate CRM data, managing forecasting, and reporting pipeline performance
- Staying informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and partners
- Contributing to the development of a scalable GTM engine during a key growth phase
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B sales, with a proven ability to manage end-to-end deal cycles and deliver results. You will be confident engaging senior leaders, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ B2B sales experience, ideally as a Sales Account Executive in membership, events, property, or professional services sectors
- Track record of managing full sales cycles and delivering revenue targets
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high-volume pipeline
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and creativity in solution selling
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot desirable)
- Comfortable attending and representing the organisation at events and meetings
