The Role
As Senior Production Manager, you will be responsible for the production delivery of multiple projects at once, ensuring high standards across technical, logistical and operational elements. You will act as the production lead from initial brief to on-site delivery, working closely with senior leadership and client stakeholders throughout. Key responsibilities include:
• Taking initial project briefs alongside senior leadership
• Contributing technical insight during brainstorms and creative development
• Preparing technical content for pitches and tender responses
• Managing budgets, production schedules, critical paths and risk registers
• Working with design and creative teams to develop practical, deliverable solutions
• Coordinating specialist suppliers and contractors to deliver logistics and build
• Managing H&S documentation including RAMS and compliance requirements
• Ensuring timelines, quality and delivery standards are met
• Providing flexible on-site leadership to deliver live events
• Acting as a technical expert for clients and internal teams
• Overseeing scheduling of all technical elements throughout pre-production and on-site
The Candidate
The successful Senior Production Manager will have strong production management experience within a live events, production or technical agency environment. You will have a proven track record delivering consumer events, outdoor infrastructure/overlay, sporting events, brand experiences or product launches.
To be considered for this Senior Production Manager role you must demonstrate strong technical knowledge across overlay, lighting, sound, AV, rigging and broadcast, and be fully proficient in MS Office. Competency in 2D AutoCAD and the ability to interpret technical drawings confidently is essential. The successful Senior production Manager will be highly organised, detail-focused and capable of working accurately under pressure. Strong communication skills, a calm approach to on-site problem-solving, and a solid understanding of relevant H&S and CDM legislation are required. A full UK driving licence is essential.
