The Role

As Senior Production Manager, you will take the lead on the technical and operational delivery of multiple complex outdoor and live projects. Acting as the production authority, you will drive projects from brief through to on-site execution, ensuring seamless delivery across all technical, logistical and health & safety elements. Responsibilities include:

• Leading initial project briefings alongside senior leadership
• Providing technical direction during creative development and brainstorming sessions
• Producing technical responses for pitches and tenders
• Managing detailed budgets, critical paths and risk registers
• Collaborating with design and creative teams to ensure buildable, practical solutions
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive production schedules
• Appointing and managing specialist suppliers, contractors and crew
• Overseeing H&S documentation including RAMS and compliance processes
• Ensuring exceptional quality control throughout pre-production and onsite phases
• Taking full responsibility for on-site technical delivery and troubleshooting
• Acting as the senior technical point of contact for clients and internal teams
• Overseeing the scheduling and integration of all technical disciplines

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role requiring strong leadership across complex outdoor environments.

The Candidate

To be considered for this Senior Production Manager position, you must have substantial experience delivering large-scale live events within an agency, production or technical supply environment. A proven background in outdoor events, sporting activations, overlay infrastructure, brand experiences or major consumer events is essential. You will possess strong technical knowledge across overlay, lighting, sound, AV, rigging and broadcast, with the ability to confidently interpret technical drawings and plans. Proficiency in MS Office and competency in 2D AutoCAD are required.

You will be highly organised, commercially aware and calm under pressure, with the ability to make clear decisions in demanding on-site environments. A thorough understanding of current H&S and CDM legislation is essential, along with a full UK driving licence.
