This business is a major independent international communications and events agency group with offices across Europe, North America and the Middle East. Operating as a fully integrated agency encompassing creative, digital, production, logistics and film, they deliver end-to-end event and brand communication solutions for government, semi-government and major corporate entities.
With hundreds of employees globally and a highly diverse workforce representing numerous nationalities, the culture is collaborative, non-hierarchical and relationship driven. The Middle East office operates as a self-contained event management powerhouse with strong in-house creative and technical infrastructure, handling the vast majority of delivery internally and building long-term client partnerships based on trust and quality.
THE ROLE
This is a senior leadership position within the project management team, responsible for end-to-end ownership of complex live events, tenders and client relationships. The Senior Event Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage significant budgets and act as the central point of coordination across creative, production and operational workstreams.
Duties as Senior Event Project Manager will include:
- Leading pitch processes from briefing through to final submission
- Owning full project lifecycles from concept development to post-event reporting
- Managing internal and external stakeholders across multiple departments
- Building and controlling large-scale budgets with accurate forecasting
- Selecting and negotiating with suppliers including venues, production partners and technical vendors
- Overseeing onsite delivery including build, live days and dismantle
- Embedding risk management, safety compliance and quality control throughout planning
- Producing structured reports, lessons learned documentation and client evaluations
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this Senior Event Project Manager role, you will typically have 8+ years' experience within reputable event or integrated agencies, with a strong track record of leading complex, high-value projects. You will be commercially astute, culturally adaptable and confident managing teams of varying sizes while maintaining calm, structured leadership in stakeholder-heavy environments.
Experience working with government or large institutional clients is advantageous, as is exposure to international markets. Candidates who demonstrate long-term career commitment, strong budget ownership and the ability to lead both tenders and live delivery will thrive in this environment.
