Working alongside an experienced Senior Sales Executive and wider events team, you’ll help maximise venue revenue and strengthen client loyalty.
THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Venue Sales Executive to manage incoming enquiries, convert business, and support the wider commercial strategy of the venue. This role blends client relationship management, sales administration, event coordination and customer service, requiring someone who is confident, organised and commercially minded.
You’ll handle quotations, contracts and venue management software, guide clients through the enquiry and event process, host site visits, and work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure each event is delivered smoothly. You’ll also contribute to sales reporting, forecasting, and promotional activity that supports new business growth.
Key Responsibilities as Venue Sales Executive include:
- Responding to incoming event enquiries and preparing accurate quotations and contracts.
- Managing client relationships throughout the enquiry cycle, conducting research and recommending upgrades or add‑ons.
- Hosting venue show rounds and supporting promotional events and exhibitions.
- Collaborating with internal operational teams to ensure event requirements are communicated clearly and delivered accurately.
- Maintaining diary accuracy, avoiding space clashes and maximising venue utilisation.
- Supporting finance processes including deposits, credit checks, invoices and client commission queries.
THE CANDIDATE
This role suits a confident, proactive Venue Sales Executive with previous experience in event sales, negotiation and venue or hotel environments. You’ll be customer‑focused, well‑organised and able to build strong rapport with clients.
The ideal Venue Sales Executive will be highly detail‑oriented, commercially aware, and capable of juggling multiple enquiries simultaneously. You’ll be comfortable in client‑facing settings, calm working under pressure, and motivated by hitting conversion targets and contributing to revenue growth.
