Working within a vibrant and fast paced team you will be responsible for driving an established key account forward and being a true partner to their client. Being based between the clients' offices and also the agency's London office you will be the lynchpin between the two. A broad role responsibilities will include:
The ideal applicant must have experience within the event and communications industry, ideally gained from an event, marketing or communications agency although other backgrounds will be considered. Experience of growing key accounts and managing communications projects would be highly advantageous. Client and stakeholder management is key!
Candidates must be open to international and UK travel as onsite support is required as part of the role.

EVENT ACCOUNT MANAGER / LEAD - AGENCY

Due to their on-going success, they are now seeking a talented Account Director to join their team. You will be joining a world class event agency as an integral member and work closely with an impressive client base, predominantly within the healthcare sector.
Within this role you will oversee a superb events team and ensure each project is as outstanding as the last. You will ensure that opportunities are being maximised across the client account and continue the development of the strong client relationships as well as oversee the delivery of projects.
Overall responsibilities will include:
* Lead client contact with Directors on allocated accounts
* Attend client pitches when required
* Maintaining client relationships and recognising development opportunities
* Liaising with the internal design / creative teams
* Managing events team
* Budget management
* Timeline scheduling
* On site management when required
The ideal candidate should have experience within a full service agency (preferably with in-house creative & production) combined with excellent account management credentials, whether this being solely working on one single client or across multiple accounts.
Exposure to working within the healthcare sector is also highly desirable.

EVENT TEAM ACCOUNT MANAGER - events agency
An exclusive role working for a global agency has become available to lead the team on one of their high profile accounts, overseeing an annual programme of complex international events and developing further the client relationship.

Due to some exciting and on-going growth they are now seeking a dedicated Event Team Account Manager to lead a busy account and oversee some fantastic international events, as well as developing a busy team of Event Managers.
As an Event Team Account Manager you will be working alongside the Account Director and being the main point of contact for the key client stakeholders. You will be managing a dedicated team, who will be delivering pharmaceutical events on an international scale.
The range of duties will include:
* Managing the key client stakeholders and developing relationships
* Ensuring the client and the agency processes are adhered to
* Overseeing the planning of resource across the team
* Leading larger and more high profile events
* Liaising with internal departments including creative
* Networking across the account to grow business
* Preparing proposals and pitching where necessary
* Managing the initial meetings once the business is won
* Overseeing registration and logistics teams
* Large scale budget management and financial reconciliation
* Managing and developing a team to success
* Post event de-brief with client
With a strong background in managing international events, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector, the ideal candidate will have line managed a team including PDPs and appraisals. A strong commercial acumen and strength in budgets, contract negotiation and financials is also key. This is a highly demanding client with a busy team, so line management experience would also be key. This is a really high profile account within the agency and will offer a huge amount of career progression.

Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking for a senior level Account Director to come on board and work on their largest account! Working closely with the agency's leadership team this is a broad role which includes:
Taking responsibility for specific aspects of this flagship account
Account management and development
Having a key focus on strategy input and direction
Working with the account team to ensure opportunities are identified and delivered
Taking and interpreting briefs
Leading a variety of delivery teams including event, video, digital, communications and exhibitions
Delivering excellent client service across a range of projects and activities
Ensuring communication across all internal departments
Ensuring all SLA's for the account are adhered to
Develop and drive project teams
Ensuring operational excellence across the team
Being responsible for the commercial value of projects
Onsite management when required
This role is focused around the management and growth of client relationships so candidates must have a proven background in managing and developing accounts and associated revenue, with excellent commercial awareness. Experience of working in an agency previously is essential and candidates must have experience of working on multi-channel campaigns, live or experiential events, ideally in the healthcare sector (although other backgrounds will be considered). Experience of managing and leading a team is key.
