The Role

As the agency’s client portfolio and project scope continues to grow, they are now seeking an Account Director to take strategic ownership of a major client account and oversee the successful delivery of multiple event programmes. This is a senior role responsible for shaping client relationships, driving account growth, and ensuring flawless project delivery across a wide range of live and digital event formats. Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the strategic lead and primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders
• Leading the planning, oversight, and direction of live, digital, video, and design-led projects
• Providing insightful, proactive account development and identifying opportunities for growth
• Overseeing project teams, resource planning & ensuring excellence across all delivery touchpoints
• Guiding creative ideation and ensuring solutions align with client objectives and brand strategy
• Managing commercial performance across the account, including forecasting, budgeting & reporting
• Ensuring operational excellence across logistics, technical production, and content development
• Representing the agency onsite for key UK and international events

The Candidate

To excel in this Account Director position, you will bring substantial experience leading large-scale, multi-workstream events within an agency environment, with the confidence to operate as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders. You will demonstrate strong commercial and strategic acumen, combining excellent client leadership with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects and guide cross-functional teams. To be considered for this Account Director role a solid understanding of end-to-end event delivery is essential, and experience in content creation, technical production or exhibition build projects would be a real advantage. You will be adept at managing budgets and forecasting, with the capability to identify and develop new opportunities within client accounts. A collaborative leadership style, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire and influence both clients and colleagues are key to success, while familiarity with Procim would be beneficial though not essential. This Account Director role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is eager to shape the direction of an ambitious, evolving agency.
