The Role
As the agency continues to expand its client portfolio, they are now looking for an Account Director to take ownership of a major client account and ensure the successful delivery of multiple event programmes. This role sits at the heart of the agency, balancing senior client management with hands-on oversight of delivery across all project stages. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders
- Taking full ownership of delivery across live, digital and hybrid events
- Leading internal project teams and ensuring resources are aligned effectively
- Overseeing logistics, production, content and technical delivery across projects
- Managing timelines, budgets and delivery standards to ensure consistent excellence
- Identifying risks early and proactively resolving delivery challenges
- Supporting account growth through strong relationships and consistent delivery
- Representing the agency on-site at key UK and international events
The Candidate
To succeed in this Account Director role, you will have a proven background delivering complex, multi-stream events within an agency environment, combined with strong senior-level client management experience. The successful Account Director will be confident owning delivery from brief through to on-site execution, while managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
A solid understanding of end-to-end event delivery is essential, with experience across logistics, technical production, content or exhibition builds highly advantageous. You will be commercially aware, comfortable managing budgets and forecasting, and confident guiding teams to deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
This role is ideal for an Account Director who is hands-on, delivery-led and client-focused — someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the detail, building trusted relationships, and ensuring every event is delivered to the highest standard. Experience with Procim would be beneficial but is not essential.
