The Role

Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Senior Event Project Manager to join their growing association events team.  Reporting into the Operations Director for Associations, you will be responsible for the delivering association events and congresses, working in close liaison with the Associations Key Account Director / Project Directors. 

You will be supported by executives and work closely with other project team members in different areas of the project.   This role covers every element of event delivery, from taking the initial client brief through to managing the client relationship and then overseeing everything coming together on site.

 

This is a broad role where the Senior Event Project Manager will report in to use all of their event and project management skills and experience, including; 

-          Taking the initial client brief

-          End to end project management

-          Delivering multiple projects simultaneously

-          Working closely with in-house teams including creative, design and build

-          Briefing and managing external suppliers and stakeholders

-          Managing& communicating operating plans including project schedules and design elements

-          Adhering to health and safety regulations

-          Managing budgets and overseeing cost management

-          On-site project management

 

The Candidate

Candidates should ideally be working in a similar role as a Senior Event Project Manager from an Association background.  We are looking for a proven association congress professional with experience in self-financing events including a good understanding of marketing and exhibition management. 

Most importantly we are looking for an ambitious Senior Event Project Manager with a willingness to learn and develop within this fantastic organisation
